ROOT CANAL TREATMENT (ENDODONTICS)
We do "Painless" root canal therapy here!!! We use digital rotary instruments; an advanced technology in root canal therapy which is extremely non stressful and fast to the tooth and hence the patient. Root canal therapy is a procedure that is used to save a tooth with diseased or injured pulp, which contains nerve and blood supply to the tooth. If a diseased or damaged pulp is not treated, it can cause an abscess which is a collection of pus at the tip of the root which in turn can damage the bone around the tooth.

Pain is only present when good anesthesia cannot be obtained, which is rare. When root canal treatment is started, the pulp chamber and the canals are cleaned. Then they are shaped in a way so that a filling can be easily placed in the canals. Following cleaning and shaping, the canals are filled. A crown is placed after a tooth has received root canal treatment and it will be done on a separate appointment. A front tooth receiving a root canal therapy may not require a crown and this will depend on individual cases. Dr. Suchman will assess whether a specialist (an endodontist) is needed to treat some root canals.
